		<description>I&#039;ve updated the original post to make it easier to install PHP 5.2. Basically, you need to explicitly state which version to install and that means adding &#039;-5.2.10-1.el5.remi&#039; to the end of the package name.  If you&#039;d like to view what the repo offers execute through the shell:
yum --enablerepo=remi list php*

PS - for some reason WordPress is hiding the double dash in front of the enablerepo switch.  It must be &quot;yum --enablerepo=remi&quot; and then the commands.</description>
